Connor was trying really hard not to smirk down
at the file he was reading, he couldn’t stare at it
for much longer. He’s finished going through it
earlier and he doubt everyone would buy it for
much longer. It was harder to not to keep the
smirk off his lips than he though it would be. All
he suddenly could think about was everything he
could do to Oliver. Course he failed the second he
saw his lover’s reply a smirk pulling over his lips.
[ text ]: I’m too busy thinking of you.
[ text ]: Want me to head out around 5:30?
He wasn’t sure if that was when Oliver got off at
work but it seemed like a good enough time to
head the way over to that part of town to meet him.
He flipped the pages, his eyes moving up and to the
side as he ties to remember if the pizza place Oliver
had a private enough area near the building.
[ text ]: They don’t need to know that.
He slides the cell phone into his front pocket before
he stood up, closing the file, but he didn’t put it back
with the others. Oliver would need it for later on.
Connor walks over to the table with the information on
the case, looking over what was already gone over by the
others and what hadn’t gone over yet. His mind moving
from one idea to the next as he looks at the closed files.
Sharing a look in passing with Laurel.
[ Text ] : You’re going to get fired.
Not the flirtiest thing he could have said but
that was more Connor’s forte and he really
didn’t want to get him in trouble, then again
it wasn’t like he could truly get fired when he
was a student, kicked out of class, possibly.
Five thirty? He could perhaps do five thirty,
if he finished everything that needed to be
done and rushed back, texting Connor probably
wasn’t helping with that hastily thought out
plan but he wasn’t going to disagree, the man
could always wait around for a little while.
[ Text ] : At the pizza place?
Oliver would admit, at least to himself and
in no near vicinity of Connor Walsh that his
daring attitude did have a certain charm to it,
especially when the rules were being broken
for him, he knew it was all a game, Connor
didn’t date and he most likely didn’t think twice
before cheating; he knew he was just convenient
but it was nice sometimes, when he forgot about
all that.
[ Text ] : They wont, so long as none of them trail you.
Work. Oliver thought to himself, purposefully
putting his phone down if only to rest it by the
side of his computer, still paying more attention
the the currently blank screen then the numbers
he was typing.
